Last month we celebrated our amazing “Volunteer of the Month,” Daisy Pangilinan! She’s been our superhero “tweeting” and while working closely with me, Maya’s Hope Twitter followers increased by 65%! Daisy is a quick thinker with a huge heart, always willing to roll up her sleeves and put her thumbs and computer skills to help our cutie pies.

Thanks to her devoted efforts, a high school student who followed our Tweets wrote a blog about Maya’s Hope for his internship with The Bravo Bitch. Daisy has helped write case files for our Sponsor Children, created beautiful templates, recruited and trained volunteers, and worked tirelessly on Twitter the whole time. She wears many hats and loves to stay on top of organization, too. Just look at a sample of how she keeps it all in order below:

Picture 6We thank Daisy for putting together the 10-page “Introductory Package” to introduce other volunteers to Maya’s Hope. This is central to our process, helping volunteers make beautiful finished products from the raw information we receive. Daisy has a gift, and her big heart helps Maya’s Hope reach potential sponsors and collaborators to make a difference in the lives of children.

Daisy, we salute you!!! Keep up the good work!!
