The Kalinovka facility is located far off the beaten track in rural southeastern Ukraine.  Kalinovka was long “closed” and off limits to visitors.

Zaporozhye Orphan Asylum

For Boys with Abnormality of Mental Development, Ukraine

Zaporozhye Orphan Asylum was founded in 1981 in the resort place Velikiy Lug of the Zaporozhye city.  It accommodates 155 children including 61 orphans.
