Imagine the daily struggle of surviving on less than $2 a day. In the Philippines, nearly half of the population endures this harsh reality, where finding a decent meal becomes a daunting task, if not impossible.

For families with children who have special needs, living in poverty becomes even more challenging. Mothers face an agonizing dilemma: either care for their disabled child and forego work, making it difficult to provide for their family, or secure employment and leave their special needs child alone or in state care.

At Maya’s Hope, we strive to support these families and keep children where they rightfully belong—with their loved ones. We aim to alleviate some of the burdens faced by these courageous parents who choose to raise their children with unconditional love, despite the immense hardships.

You can join us in making a profound difference in a child’s life by becoming a monthly donor.

Sponsor Kylo

Kylo, a brave little fighter, was born with hydrocephalus and myelomeningocele, which required surgery to close the spinal opening. Unfortunately, his surgical wound became infected, leading to additional surgery to remove dead tissue from his back. In addition, he underwent two more surgeries for his hydrocephalus and club feet. Despite these challenges, Kylo remains resilient. Support Kylo's journey!

Sponsor Adalyn

Adalyn was born with Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus. From the day she was born, she needed care that her mother could not afford. The child desperately needed surgery to survive. And thanks to generous donations from the supporters of Maya's Hope, Adalyn could have a surgical procedure to improve her condition. Now, when she received a chance at a healthy life, we need to make sure she is thriving!

Sponsor Ella

Ella was born in 2014 with cerebral palsy and global developmental delay. Since joining our program in June 2020, she's gained weight, and now crawls, stands, and babbles. Ella has 3 siblings and her family faces numerous financial challenges. Ella needs monthly sponsors to provide essentials like formula, diapers, and vitamins. Your support, at any amount, will make a significant difference in her life.
